Case Study: Floral Dance Florist, Ilkley
Floral Dance was an idea that soon became a reality for my client Angela Naylor who is the successful owner of Floral Dance. On a chance meeting on a night out in Ilkley I told her I was a Web Designer and she told me she wanted to open her own floristry business. We were soon exchanging ideas on design, logo, stationery and a few months later the shop and website were launched.
I have complete control and management of the website and have regular brainstorming meetings with Angela to create new content and I am frequently updating the website with beautiful images from her weddings and photo shoots.
Angela is a very talented florist and has taken part in many styled shoots to showcase her floristry skills and unique flair which helps to promote her Wedding Flower Service.
On her website there is a section to show her styled shoots and the home page is set to show the featured image of each shoot. Further down the home page it is set to show the latest three posts from her blog.
The Website is also linked to Facebook and Instagram and towards the bottom of the page I have set it show the latest images posted on Instagram. It finishes off the page nicely.
Flyer and leaflet design
We used an image from one of Angela’s styled shoots to create a leaflet. To keep the cost down, I created the design and then uploaded it onto an online printing service. A few days later the leaflets arrived in the post.
Banner Design for a Wedding Show
I pulled together this design and sent the jpg file to a local printer who turned it into a beautiful display banner.
This was used at a wedding fair. It looked fantastic!
